23. When the skin “cries†for karma balancing (Psoriasis)

Tony is forty-seven and divorced. He and his former wife have three children. In the previous year he was freed of claustrophobia in a Regression Therapy session. In one life as a victim he was a girl locked up in a room. When the house then caught on fire, she could not escape. He suffers from psoriasis, a kind of dandruff. The skin begins to turn red, and then scales begin to appear and then dry out. Finally, because of unbearable itching, one begins to scratch, causing moisture. And then the process begins anew. Psoriasis spreads over different parts of the body. Most unbearable is, perhaps, the affliction on the scalp, where there is a lot of scaling and dandruff. But this skin disease spreads out also on other parts of the head, on the back as well as the genital and anal area.

For Tony this all began at the age of twenty, at the same time as a boil began to develop in the anal area. He was reluctant to see a doctor until the age of 25, when the growth had reached the size of a pigeon egg and he had no other choice. The doctor gave him medicine, which did stop the growth of the boil but also caused the psoriasis to develop.â€The itching was worst whenever his wife or children came too close. (This type of symptom is an alarm signal to a regression therapist to investigate whether one or more of these family members have a karmic connection with the actual cause in an earlier life as a victim or perpetrator.)

First we went into his present life to see if there were things that could be seen in connection with his skin disease: At the age of three Tony burnt his hand on a candle. Going back to the age of one, we find him screaming in his baby-bed. His father, whose dentist’s office is directly beneath this room, hears the cries and hurries upstairs, where he finds the baby-sitter missing. So he is forced to quickly change Tony’s diapers himself. In his hurry he fails to put enough powder on the sore places before he hurries back to his office, scolding the reappearing baby-sitter on the way out.

Now I ask his Higher Self, if there is anything important for his skin problem in the prenatal period. He then experiences the moment when his mother learns that she is pregnant. She criticizes her husband for being at fault, saying, “It’s just because you want to sleep with me all the time.†The embryo Tony knows now that he is unwanted and would prefer, as he says, “to return to where he came fromâ€. Whenever his mother eats fruit, his skin burns.

So Tony can already suffer as a fetus. As we will see more clearly later, these are in fact (pre-selected) painful after-effects of karmic reactions in his life as a victim. Regression therapists have discovered this new
